Dubai Aquarium vs Atlantis Lost Chambers

I'm still blown away by my visit to the Dubai Aquarium on January 10th. So, if you're trying to decide between the Dubai Aquarium and the Atlantis Lost Chambers, you're in the right place. Look, both are incredible, but they offer different experiences.

Location and Accessibility

The Dubai Aquarium is located in the Dubai Mall, easily accessible by metro - just get off at the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station. And, it's open from 10 am to 10 pm, giving you plenty of time to visit. Honestly, the Atlantis Lost Chambers, on the other hand, is situated on the Palm Jumeirah, which is a bit farther, but still accessible by taxi or bus.

Exhibits and Marine Life

Dubai Aquarium boasts an incredible array of marine life, including sharks, stingrays, and even crocodiles. You'll pay around 120 AED for a standard ticket. But, if you want to get up close and personal, you can take a glass-bottom boat tour for an extra 100 AED. The Atlantis Lost Chambers, however, focuses more on the mythical lost city of Atlantis, with a variety of marine animals, including fish, rays, and even sharks.

Prices and Packages

Prices for the Atlantis Lost Chambers start at around 100 AED for a standard ticket. So, if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, this might be the way to go. But, if you want to experience the full range of exhibits and activities, you'll need to shell out around 200 AED for a premium package. I opted for the premium package, and it was worth it - I even got to feed the fish.

Personal Experience

I visited the Dubai Aquarium with my friend, and we had an amazing time. Our driver, Abdul, dropped us off right outside the mall, and we spent the whole day exploring the aquarium and the surrounding area. We even grabbed lunch at a small café on Sheikh Zayed Road, where I had an incredible shawarma for just 20 AED.
