I recently took a half-day Dubai city tour on January 10th, and I was amazed at how much we could see in just 4 hours. Our driver, Khalid, was very knowledgeable and took us to all the major landmarks. We started at the Dubai Mall, where we saw the iconic Burj Khalifa, and then headed to the Museum of the Future on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Look, the tour won't give you a lot of time at each stop, but you'll get a great overview of the city. We visited the Jumeirah Mosque, which is one of the most beautiful mosques I've ever seen, and then headed to the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood. And, honestly, the entrance fee to the museum is included in the tour price of AED 120. But, be prepared for a lot of walking and some traffic.
So, one of my favorite parts of the tour was the visit to the Gold Souk, where I bought a beautiful silver necklace for AED 50. We also had lunch at a local restaurant near the Deira Metro Station, where I tried the delicious shawarma for AED 15. Here's the thing: the tour is a great way to see the city, but it's also a bit rushed, so be prepared to move quickly.
Honestly, I'd recommend taking a full-day tour if you have the time, but if you're short on time, this half-day tour is a great option. You can also consider visiting IMG Worlds of Adventure Dubai or taking a Deluxe Marina Dhow Cruise for a more relaxing experience.
So, if you're planning to take the half-day Dubai city tour, make sure to book it in advance, especially during peak season. You can book the tour through Roamigo Trips, and they'll take care of everything, including pickup and dropoff from your hotel.
