Dubai Post-Expo: What's Still Open

Expo Legacy: What to Expect

I visited Al Wasl Plaza on January 15th, and it was still buzzing with activity. You can grab a coffee for around 20 AED and enjoy the sights. So, if you're looking for a unique experience, this is the place to be. Look, the plaza is open from 10 am to 10 pm, and entry is free.

Must-Visit Attractions

Here's the thing: Dubai Miracle Garden is a must-visit, even after the Expo. You'll find stunning floral arrangements, and the heart-shaped pathway is a great spot for photos. Honestly, I was impressed by the sheer scale of the garden. You can book a Dubai Miracle Garden tour for around 50 AED per person.

Getting Around

And, to get to these attractions, you can use the metro or take a taxi. But, be aware that traffic can be heavy, especially around the Expo site. I took a taxi from the Dubai Marina area, and it cost around 60 AED to get to Al Wasl Plaza. My driver, Khalid, was knowledgeable and helped me navigate the roads.

Other Attractions

You can also visit the LEGOLAND Water Park for a fun day out with the family, priced at around 250 AED per person. Alternatively, take a Dubai Half-Day City Tour to explore the city's modern and historical highlights, which costs around 120 AED per person.

Practical Tips

So, before you head out, make sure to check the opening hours and prices for each attraction. You don't want to arrive and find out it's closed. I'd recommend booking your tours in advance to avoid any hassle. You can book your tours through Roamigo Trips for a hassle-free experience.
