Dubai Public Holidays 2026

I'm always excited to share my knowledge of Dubai with fellow travelers. So, if you're planning a trip to this amazing city, you'll want to know about the public holidays in 2026. Honestly, it's crucial to plan around these dates to avoid crowds and make the most of your vacation.

When to Visit

Look, the best time to visit Dubai is from November to March, when the weather is mild and pleasant. And, if you're looking for a specific date, I'd recommend visiting around December 15th, like I did last year - the city is beautifully decorated for the holidays. You can enjoy outdoor activities like a desert safari, which costs around 200 AED per person, or visit the Dubai Safari Park for a fun-filled day.

When to Avoid

Here's the thing: some public holidays in Dubai can be quite crowded, so it's best to avoid them if you can. For example, the Eid Al Fitr holidays, which usually take place in May or June, are a peak time for tourists, and prices for accommodations and tourist attractions tend to skyrocket — you can expect to pay up to 500 AED per night for a hotel room. But, if you do plan to visit during this time, make sure to book your tickets and accommodations well in advance.

Practical Tips

So, if you're looking for a hassle-free vacation, consider visiting Dubai during the week, and avoid traveling during rush hour, which is usually around 7-9 am and 4-6 pm. You can take the metro from stations like Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates to get around the city. And, don't forget to try some delicious local cuisine, like the machboos I had at a restaurant on Sheikh Zayed Road — it was amazing and only cost 50 AED!

Getting Around

Honestly, getting around Dubai is relatively easy, with plenty of taxis and ride-hailing services available. You can also take a Dubai Half-Day City Tour to explore the city's modern and historical highlights. If you're looking for a fun day out, consider visiting the IMG Worlds of Adventure, which is the world's largest indoor theme park.

For a seamless travel experience, you can book your tours through Roamigo Trips — they offer a range of packages and activities to suit all interests and budgets. So, go ahead and plan your trip to Dubai, and don't forget to check the public holidays before you book your flights!
