Dubai Public Holidays 2026

Roamigo Team June 10, 2026

I'm still reminiscing about my trip to Dubai on December 15, 2022, when I visited the Burj Khalifa - what a sight! So, if you're planning to visit Dubai in 2026, you should know about the public holidays to make the most of your trip.

New Year's Day and Beyond

Look, the first public holiday in Dubai is on January 1, and it's a great time to visit, with prices starting from AED 500 for a 3-star hotel near Sheikh Zayed Road. You can explore the city, visit the Dubai Mall, and take a stroll along the Dubai Marina.

Ramadan and Eid

Here's the thing: Ramadan is a significant holiday in Dubai, and it's expected to start on March 11, 2026. I recall trying the delicious Harees dish at a local restaurant near the Al Fahidi Metro Station during my last visit. And, honestly, it's a great time to experience the local culture, but some attractions might be closed or have limited hours.

Eid Al Fitr and Summer

Eid Al Fitr is expected to start on April 10, 2026, and it's a great time to visit theme parks like Legoland, with ticket prices starting from AED 245 per person - you can book your Legoland Theme Park ticket in advance. But, be prepared for the summer heat, and don't forget to stay hydrated.

Winter and Year-End

So, if you're looking for a cooler climate, visit Dubai between November and December. You can take in the stunning views of the city from The View at The Palm or explore the Yas Island with a Yas Island Combo Experience. It's a great time to enjoy outdoor activities, like desert safaris or visiting the Global Village.

And, finally, if you're planning to visit Dubai in 2026, make sure to check the public holidays and plan your trip accordingly. You can book your tours through Roamigo Trips, and I'd be happy to help you plan your trip — just don't forget to try the local food, like I did on my last visit!
