Dubai Safari Park Fun

Dubai Safari Park Adventure

So, I visited Dubai Safari Park on a sunny Friday, 17th February, with my family and had an absolute blast. We took a taxi from Mall of the Emirates metro station and it cost us around AED 40. You'll find plenty of cabs waiting outside the park too.

And, I must say, the park is huge — you'll need a full day to explore it. We bought the VIP package for AED 100 per person, which included a guided tour and priority access to all the exhibits.

Getting There

Look, getting to Dubai Safari Park is relatively easy — just take the metro to Mall of the Emirates station and then grab a taxi. Honestly, don't bother driving, parking can be a nightmare. Our driver, Khalid, was super friendly and knowledgeable about the park, so that was a bonus.

We stopped for lunch at the park's restaurant, which served a decent chicken shawarma for AED 25. Not the best I've had, but it did the trick.

What to Expect

Here's the thing: Dubai Safari Park is not just about seeing animals - it's an educational experience too. We learned a lot about the different species and their habitats. The kids (and let's be honest, the adults too) loved the interactive exhibits and the chance to feed some of the animals.

Tips and Tricks

So, if you're planning to visit Dubai Safari Park with kids, make sure to wear comfy shoes - you'll be doing a lot of walking. We also took a break and grabbed some ice cream for AED 15 each, which was a nice treat. But, don't forget to stay hydrated - it can get pretty hot, especially during the summer months.

If you're looking for more fun activities to do with your family, I'd recommend checking out the Motiongate Dubai Tickets or the Abu Dhabi City Tour + BAPS Hindu Mandir Visit. You can even combine it with a Dubai Half-Day City Tour for a fun-filled weekend.
