So, you're looking for a spot to dine with a view in Dubai. I recently visited the rooftop restaurant at the Address Downtown, and it did not disappoint — the burj khalifa views are simply stunning, especially at sunset.
I ordered the seafood platter, which was priced at around 250 AED per person, and it was worth every dirham. And, the service was top-notch, our server, Abdul, was very attentive.
But, be prepared for a pricey meal, the minimum spend is around 500 AED per person. Honestly, it's a bit steep for me, but the ambiance is nice, and you can always grab a drink and enjoy the view without breaking the bank.
Here's the thing: if you're looking for a more laid-back vibe, Dubai Marina has some great rooftop bars. I recently visited the Pier 7 bar, and it was a lot of fun - they have a happy hour from 5-7 pm, and the drinks are priced at around 50 AED.
The best time to visit these rooftop restaurants is around sunset, the views are beautiful, and the temperature is mild. I visited the Observatory at the Marriott Hotel on February 10th, and it was a great experience — they have a minimum spend of 200 AED per person, but the views of the marina are stunning.
To get to these rooftop restaurants, you can take the metro to the nearest station, for example, the Burj Khalifa metro station is a short walk to the Address Downtown. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, it's around 20-30 AED from the Dubai Mall.
So, if you're planning to visit one of these rooftop restaurants, make sure to book in advance, especially on weekends. You can also check out other tours and activities in Dubai, such as the Creek Dhow Cruise with Buffet dinner, or the Abu Dhabi City Tour + BAPS Hindu Mandir Visit (Full Day).
