Eid Al Fitr in Dubai: Celebrations

Ahmed Al Rashid April 28, 2026

I still remember Eid Al Fitr back in 2018, the streets of Dubai were filled with joy and laughter. People from all walks of life came together to celebrate. And, I was lucky enough to experience it firsthand with my friend, Abdullah, who's a driver here.

Celebrations and Events

So, what can you expect during Eid Al Fitr in Dubai? Look, the city comes alive with fireworks, and you can catch them at the Dubai Fountain or the Creek. We witnessed an amazing display on the first day of Eid, and it was truly breathtaking. Honestly, it's a moment you won't want to miss.

Traditional Food and Drinks

But, let's talk about the food – you can't celebrate Eid without trying some traditional Arabic dishes like Gormeh Sabzi or Luqaimat. I ordered these at a restaurant near the BurJuman Metro Station, and they cost around AED 50. You'll also find plenty of cafes offering special Eid deals, like AED 20 for a cup of Karak tea.

Family-Friendly Activities

Here's the thing: Dubai has plenty of family-friendly activities during Eid. You can take your kids to the Dubai Dolphinarium to watch the dolphin show, which costs around AED 100 per person. Or, you can book a Creek Dhow Cruise with a buffet dinner for AED 150 per person.

Shopping and Discounts

And, if you're looking for some shopping deals, you can head to the Dubai Mall or the Mall of the Emirates, where you'll find discounts of up to 50% on various products. We found some great deals on clothes and electronics, and you can even grab a coffee at one of the cafes for AED 15.

La Perle Dubai Show

So, if you're looking for a unique experience, you should check out the La Perle Dubai Silver Show, which costs around AED 400 per person. It's an amazing live aqua show with stunning performances.

So, to make the most of your Eid Al Fitr celebrations in Dubai, I'd recommend booking your tours and activities in advance through Roamigo Trips to avoid the rush. You don't want to miss out on the fun, right?
