Ferrari World Abu Dhabi: Worth the Trip?

Roamigo Team June 12, 2026

Getting There is Half the Fun

I visited Ferrari World Abu Dhabi on a sunny Friday, 17th February, and I'd say it's definitely worth the trip from Dubai. The drive from Dubai takes around 1.5 hours via Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Khalifa Highway, and you'll pass by some stunning views of the desert. And, if you're lucky, you might even spot some camels roaming around.

Rides and Attractions

So, what can you expect from Ferrari World? The park is home to record-breaking rollercoasters like the Formula Rossa, which costs around AED 295 for a general admission ticket. Look, I'm not a huge fan of rollercoasters, but this one was exhilarating! You'll also find more family-friendly rides like the Junior Grand Prix, where kids can learn how to drive their own mini Ferraris.

Practical Tips

Here's the thing: Ferrari World can get pretty crowded, especially on weekends. Honestly, I'd recommend getting there early to beat the queues. You can grab a snack or meal at one of the many restaurants, like the Mamma Rossella, where I ordered a delicious pasta dish for around AED 50. But, be prepared for some steep prices.

Comparison to Other Parks

I've also visited other theme parks in the UAE, like the Dubai Park & Resort, and I'd say Ferrari World is a bit more specialized. If you're a car enthusiast, you'll love it here. Otherwise, you might want to consider other options, like the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

Booking Your Trip

So, how do you get to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi? You can book your tickets through Roamigo Trips and even plan a day trip from Dubai. Look, it's pretty easy to get there, and you'll have a blast. Just don't forget to check the park's schedule and plan your visit accordingly. You can even take a metro from Dubai to the Abu Dhabi bus station, and then take a taxi from there.

And, as a final tip, make sure to wear comfy shoes and clothes, as you'll be doing a lot of walking and standing. You can grab a taxi from the park to your hotel or back to Dubai, which should cost around AED 200-300, depending on traffic. But, it's definitely worth it for the experience you'll have at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
