Indian Food in Dubai

Ahmed Al Rashid May 24, 2026

I'm a huge fan of Indian food, and I've spent countless hours exploring Dubai's culinary scene. So, I've put together a list of my favorite spots to find the most authentic Indian meals in the city. You'll find everything from spicy curries to fragrant biryanis, all at prices that won't break the bank — think 20-50 AED per meal.

Street Food

Look, if you want to experience the real deal, you need to hit up the street food scene. I headed to Al Rigga Street near the Union Metro Station on a Friday evening, and the smells of sizzling spices and fresh naan bread were amazing. And, let's be honest, you can't go wrong with a 10 AED plate of chicken tikka from one of the many street vendors.

Mid-Range Options

But, if you're looking for a more sit-down experience, there are plenty of mid-range options to choose from. I'd recommend checking out the Indian eateries near the BurJuman Metro Station — you'll find a ton of great spots, including Taste of India, which serves up delicious dishes for around 50-75 AED per person.

Fine Dining

Here's the thing: if you're looking to splurge, Dubai's got some incredible fine dining options. I recently visited Patna Restaurant on December 15th, and the service was top-notch - our driver, Raj, even recommended the perfect wine pairing for our meal. The prices are a bit steeper, around 150-200 AED per person, but trust me, it's worth it.

Personal Favorites

Honestly, I've tried a ton of different Indian restaurants in Dubai, and some of my favorites include Dastaan and Manvaar. Both serve up amazing, authentic dishes, and the atmosphere is always lively. You'll find Dastaan near the Dubai Mall, and Manvaar is just a short walk from the Jumeirah Lakes Towers Metro Station.

Practical Tips

So, if you're looking to try some of the best Indian food in Dubai, I'd recommend starting with the street food scene and working your way up to the finer dining options. And, don't forget to book your tickets to other Dubai attractions, like Madame Tussauds Dubai or La Perle Dubai, through Roamigo Trips — they offer some great package deals that include meals at some of the city's top Indian restaurants.

And, if you're looking for something to do after dinner, consider catching a show at the Motiongate Dubai theme park — it's a great way to cap off a night out in Dubai.
