Yas Island: Waterworld & Warner Bros

Roamigo Team April 29, 2026

I still remember my visit to Yas Island on November 15th, and it was an unforgettable experience. So, I'm excited to share my Yas Island guide with you, covering the best attractions like Waterworld, Warner Bros, and the upcoming SeaWorld. You'll find something for everyone on this island.

Getting to Yas Island

Look, getting to Yas Island is relatively easy, and you can take a taxi from Dubai for around AED 250-300, depending on traffic. And, if you're feeling adventurous, you can take the metro to Abu Dhabi and then hop on a bus or taxi from there. I took a taxi with my driver, Ahmed, who was knowledgeable about the area and helped me navigate the roads.

Waterworld

Here's the thing: Yas Waterworld is an amazing spot for thrill-seekers, with rides like the Dawwama and the Bandit Bomber. Honestly, I was a bit scared at first, but the rides are so much fun that you'll want to go again and again. The price for a one-day ticket is around AED 250 for adults and AED 210 for kids.

Warner Bros World

So, if you're a fan of superheroes or cartoons, Warner Bros World is a must-visit. With zones like Gotham City and Metropolis, you'll feel like you're part of the action. But, be prepared for large crowds, especially on weekends. You can check out the 1 Day 2 Parks. Unlimited Fun – Dubai Park & Resort package for a similar experience.

SeaWorld

And, coming soon to Yas Island is SeaWorld, which promises to be an exciting addition to the island's attractions. I don't have personal experience with it yet, but I've heard great things about the SeaWorld experience in other parts of the world. You can also consider visiting Ferrari World Abu Dhabi for a thrilling experience.

Accommodation and Dining

So, if you're planning to stay on Yas Island, there are plenty of hotels to choose from, including the Yas Island Rotana. I ordered the chicken biryani at the hotel's restaurant, and it was delicious. For a relaxing evening, you can take a Deluxe Marina Dhow Cruise to see Dubai's skyline.

Practical Tip

Here's a tip: book your tickets in advance to avoid long queues, and consider visiting during the week to avoid crowds. You can book tours through Roamigo Trips for a hassle-free experience.
